Mr. Payne is a founding member and Chairman of Centennial Holding Company, LLC. Under his leadership, Centennial has raised $1.1B in equity capital and invested in $3B of multifamily properties (77 communities) throughout the Southeast, Mid Atlantic, and Sunbelt.

As a founding member, Mr. Payne is responsible for the strategic direction and overall leadership of the company. As Centennial's CEO, he oversees all strategy plan execution, investor relations, and capital raising. Prior to Centennial, Mr. Payne was a pivotal contributor to the growth of WebMD where he was among the first employees.

As President, Mr. Trotter is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the company. He has oversight of acquisitions, dispositions, due diligence and asset management, while spearheading capital raising and framing the strategic direction of the company. Since joining Centennial in 2007, he has overseen $7 billion in transaction volume (acquisitions and dispositions) encompassing over 50,000 units.

Mr. Morton oversees business development, investor relations and all legal responsibilities for Centennial Holding Company, LLC. He practiced law for 35 years, most recently with the law firm Burr & Forman, LLP, where he earned significant experience in real estate and middle market private company transactions. He received his B.A. in History from the University of Georgia and his J.D., Cum Laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law where he served on the editorial board of the Georgia Law Review.

Mr. Brewer, as Chief Financial Officer, is responsible for sourcing and managing the firm’s financing activities, as well as managing the financial control operations of the firm, which includes accounting, client service, corporate financing, cash management, reporting and tax services. 

As Chief Investment Officer, Mr. Smith is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing acquisition and disposition opportunities. He has direct oversight over Centennial’s asset acquisition and disposition functions.  

Mr. Watkins, as Chief Operating Officer, is responsible for all operational functions of the company which includes transactional due diligence, asset and fund management, property tax consulting, corporate marketing, and human resources.
